We have some interesting news now for those of you that use the Pulse News application on your iOS or Android device, as we’ve just received word that the visual news app has just been updated. Version 2.0 not only brings new features, it also includes a few improvements to make the app a bit faster.
According to a recent article by Dusan over on the intomobile.com website, the updated version provides users with three times the amount of sources than the previous version. Instead of just 20 news sources, users can now select up to 60 different sources across 5 customizable pages.
The performance has also been improved, which means that the images load faster, the sources update quicker and scrolling is now smoother and more fluid. The updated Pulse News application also integrates Twitter, Facebook and email sharing contextually within each news story.
Social feeds have been made available on both the Android and iOS versions of the app. This means users can pull content from Vimeo, Digg, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit and Hacker News, as well as having the ability to share, like and comment on Facebook content directly from within the Pulse News app.
What do you think of the new features and improvements included in version 2.0 of the Pulse News app?
