Many people are looking forward to Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play; the device will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and powered by 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Now we have the UK release date and price to give you.

The handset will come with six pre-installed games which for the UK are Fifa 10, The Sims 3, Crash Bandicoot, Battalion, Tetris, and Bruce Lee Dragon Warriors. It will become available in UK stores and online beginning March 31st.

Price wise the handset will cost you £500 SIM-free, but will be cheaper if you sign up for a two year contract with one of the networks. You will also have available fifty PSone classic titles via the PlayStation Suite.
