All eyes may be on the highly anticipated HTC Thunderbolt handset due for an imminent release on Verizon, but how many of you knew that Verizon has another 4G LTE handset due to land soon? We have details on the handset now, nicknamed the Samsung Stealth.
We first told you about this phone back in December 2010, but then it was only identified by it’s model name SCH-i520. Now we know it’s called the Samsung Stealth and it could be releasing on Verizon sometime next month, according to this report from TechnoBuffalo.
The handset will be 4G LTE enabled on Verizon and it’s respectable specs include a 4.3-inch screen, a 1GHz processor, an 8 megapixel camera with 1.3 MP front camera, HDMI-out and the usual WiFi, aGPS and Bluetooth connectivity options.
It will be an Android 2.2 Froyo handset but as you can see above, there is no room for a dual-core processor, which will probably result in the Stealth playing second fiddle to the HTC Thunderbolt, whenever it decides to release of course.
The rear camera design on the back of the stealth is rather eye-catching, you can check out a picture over it over at TechnoBuffalo. After viewing their photos, let us know if you’re interested in this handset or not.
