A clever application which can be used to teach young children how to tell the time has just received an update. What time is it? 2.0 teaches children as they are having fun, and is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
Released by London based Software101, the application has a stack of extra learning materials as the app is used to show children how to read a clock. For children who haven’t learned to read yet the Click-On feature allows them to us the app effectively.
On the apps home screen a traditional clock is displayed, and allows children to manually set the hour and minute hands of the face. There is also an interactive textbook which will read out the text to young children. You will also find various clock graphics and interactive sound effects, as well as fun animations which will entertain children as they learn.
What time is it? 2.0 is available worldwide on the App Store for $1.99/£1.19. iOS 3.2 or later required.
