Even though it was only just over a week ago that the HTC Incredible S smartphone was officially unveiled during the 2011 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, we are already hearing reports that the handset has now been made available to pre-order in the UK.
As Vlad Bobleanta from unwiredview.com recently noted, the HTC Incredible S phone has recently been added to the mobiles.co.uk (a Carphone Warehouse-owned retailer) website, and is currently available to pre-order on either Vodafone or O2 contracts.
The handset – which will reportedly begin shipping on March 3rd – will be available on a variety of contracts, with the cheapest being a £25.53 per month agreement from O2. If you want the HTC Incredible free from Vodafone, it will cost you at least £30 a month.
According to Carly Page over on the dialtosave.co.uk website, both the Vodafone UK and O2 agreements provide customers with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500Mb data. The Incredible S includes a 4-inch Super LCD display, an 8MP rear-facing camera and 720p HD video recording.
The HTC Incredible S – which is the European version of the Verizon Droid Incredible – may arrive with Android 2.2 Froyo, but HTC has promised customers that an upgrade to Gingerbread is imminent. What do you think of the HTC Incredible S? Will you be pre-ordering it from Vodafone or O2?
