Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (MvC3): Character Moves List for Xbox 360, PS3

By Alan Ng - Feb 15, 2011

We have some good news for those of you who have already acquired a copy of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 on either the Xbox 360 or PS3, as we have an excellent guide to show you now, which lists all the moves and super combos in the game for every character.

The moves list has been provided by VideoGamesBlogger, who have presented their moves tutorial with useful diagram charts, listing special moves, as well as all the super move commands as well.

What’s useful about this guide, is that it lists both the normal execution, and the simple execution of moves as well. For those of you who are unaware, Capcom added an easier way for beginners to input moves. It was met by a bit of criticism by the hardcore fans, but since normal moves commands are unaffected, it’s a very good balance.

Take a look at Ryu’s move chart diagram below for example:

You’ll see that the warrior has six moves in total, four of which are specials, and the other two are his regular super combos, which we’re sure you’ve seen in previous Street Fighter games. We’re glad that custom combos haven’t been included in the move lists here, as it’s obviously a lot more fun to find your own combos.

Whether you’re after move lists for Dante, Spiderman or Chris Redfield, you’ll find them all in the link above. Take a look now and let us know if you have any other tips to share on the game.

    1. what is the use of amaterasu (dog) down to back + At.At.Hyper combo.

2.How do I play with dark phoenix in the game.

    • Guest

lol just die while using her! As long as you have 5 hyper combo bars, she will instantly be reborn.
FYI her health is super low so you better be able to bring the pain!!

  • 1) Most characters have more moves than just what’s shown in those diagrams.
    2) Those diagrams are in the instruction booklet that comes with the game.
    3) 90% of moves in the game are either quarter circle forward, quarter circle back, dragon punch forward, or dragon punch back, so you could probably figure most out on your own with a little experimentation.
    4) For the 10% that are something different, you can access the characters’ move lists by pausing the game.
    5) In case it wasn’t clear enough from the first four points, those diagrams are 100% worthless.

You're so right, although some of the dragon punch moves are it bit annoying to do
