With the much publicised hype over Ford’s new 2011 Explorer set for release in dealerships later on this year, there have been various reports on the new model with introductions through social media sites such as Facebook. Ford has also introduced it’s on-line configurator ready to keep the ball rolling.
Ford’s configurator allows you to build up your Explorer to the spec that you require. You can start with the base version in front-wheel drive at $28,190, right up to the top of the range 4WD Limited at $39,190. For the time being you can only opt for the 3.5-liter V6 models and you have to add the $805 delivery charge on.
So with the 2011 Explorer bandwagon in full flow, click on to Ford’s configuration page and spend a little time building your own version of the ideal crossover. Alternatively check out our recent report on the 2011 Ford Explorers Specs.
