2011 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon a BMW M3 Beater

Earlier this year Cadillac had given us a glimpse of the CTS-V Sport Wagon at the New York Auto Show 2010, well now Michael Harley from Autoblog has had some bonding time with the vehicle, and believes that this could be a market-leading wagon.

The sports wagon has been in the planning for a year now, but the transition from what they already had was an easy one. What makes this vehicle so special is the power under its hood, all 6.2-liters of it. The engine produces 556 horsepower, which is enough to get from 0 to 60 in less than four seconds, enough to leave a BMW M3 left for dust from a standstill.

The top speed has not been limited like most German counterparts; the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon will reach a top speed on 185mph. There are a few options, but Harley advises that we should go with the six-speed manual transmission, suede steering wheel and shift knob and Recaro seats.

There seems to be a pattern here, as Nelson Ireson from Motoring Authority was also impressed with the car. He said that there is a huge amount of power from the car, and you would need to pay at least double on a car to match that.
