Archos Tablets: Android 2.2 Froyo Update – Have you got yours?

By Alan Ng - Dec 2, 2010

If you currently own one of the many Archos Internet tablets on the market, you may want to check if there is an update available for your model, as it has been reported that Archos are now pushing out updates to Android 2.2 Froyo.

As reported from Engadget, there are as many as five Archos model numbers which are going to benefit from the update, and if you are the owner of either an Archos 23, 32, 43, 70, and 101 – you’re in luck.

Furthermore, the update is set to bring improved battery life, better overall performance and also support for GPS adapters of the external variety. If you have one of the models listed above and haven’t received any notifications yet, you may want to head to your settings to see if you can force the update manually.

For those of you who have already installed Froyo on your Archos tablet, let us know your thoughts on it – are you happy or not?
