By Peter Chubb - Nov 27, 2010

Christmas is almost upon us, so we thought we would pick out a gift idea for those of you with a daughter. What we have here is the HP 210-2061WM Mini Netbook PC, which is pink in color. I am sure that you will love the slim and small form-factor, so let us take a look at some of the main specs.

It is often hard to explain what specs a netobook has, as many of them are often the same inside, with just a few minor tweaks here and there. The main piece of hardware is the processor, the HP 210-2061WM Mini (a Walmart exclusive) has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, as well as 1GB of RAM – so no system hungry programs people.

Other features include a 250GB hard drive, which is enough to store a huge amount of data, such as photos, music and videos. The 10.1-inch BrightView LED screen also has a built-in webcam, making the netbook ideal for chatting away to friends via video chat.

Connectivity comes in the way of 3 USB ports, 1 VGA, 1 Ethernet port and a muliticard reader. HP has pre-installed Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition, and just 60 days of Norton Internet Security 2011. For more details on this netbook visit Walmart. For those looking for a similar spec netbook, then why not try the Acer Aspire One AO532h-2254.

Beware of HP's 210 model. I've had the PC now for almost 3 months. However, 1 month and 2 weeks it resided with HP due to the hard drive & motherboard dying, heat issues & software complications with the PC. Not to forget that if you want your money back for the PC your going to have to go through sending the PC to them for repair instead of getting your hard earned money back? Why? Oh, almost forgot…I have to send the PC back again due to over heating issues & the PC just shutting off once again for no apparent reason but to say it did so due to the excessive heat & to save your files? It would be nice to have a stellar PC company out there to rely on if you don't like their customer service & product! Especially if you want your money back & it's well within the 1 year warranty, not to mention only being able to use the PC 4 weeks out of 12 weeks!
