For those of you who had been keeping an eye on the development of Panasonic’s mammouth 103-inch Plasma TV, you’ll be pleased to hear that we have a few more details on it – namely a pricetag.

As reported from Engadget, Panasonic has sent out a press release, confirming that the 103″ TH-P103MT2 Plasma TV is now open for orders as of today, November 18th.

This model will also be 3D supported, and comes with a 5m:1 native contrast ratio amongst other viewing delights. Of course, the price to take one of these home is a small fortune, and Engadget states that consumers will need to pay over $100,000 for one if you include shipping and other handling charges from Japan.

Only the rich apply here we feel, as that price estimation is definitely out of most people’s reach – well, ours anyway. We’ll bring you more details on this TV set as we get it. Let us know your thoughts on it – are you dreaming of owning this one day?
