Call Of Duty Black Ops: Week In Review

By Peter Chubb - Nov 16, 2010

It has certainly been a long week where Call of Duty Black Ops is concerned, and there is certainly a long way to go before gamers get bored with the latest FPS and move onto the next big game. Much as been discussed over the past week, so we thought we would have a review of the top stories so far.

The first thing were the early reviews of Black Ops, for the most part the reviewers gave the game good ratings, but there were a few that pointed to a few issues with the game. These included a poor campaign story and nothing new for zombies – which I found surprising.

The next stage to COD Black Ops was how gamers reacted to the poor graphics. As you would imagine, hard-core fans of the game defended this by saying that it is more about the gameplay than graphics – and they would be correct. However, I cannot help but think Treyarch let fans of the franchise down a little.

The next stage in the week of Black Ops was the lag issues that PC users were experiencing. However, this has now been solved, but the number of other issues within other platforms still needs to be rectified.

The final part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops saga are the cheats and unlocks that are available for the game; most of which are for ‘Zombie Mode”. Have you tried any of these cheats for yourself yet?

So what does week two have in store for Black Ops?
