iPhone 4.2 Jailbreak: Site Aims To Help

By Jamie Pert - Nov 15, 2010

Jailbreaking your iPhone can be a daunting task the first time you do it, therefore we thought you may appreciate a resource which aims to help make this process a little easier.

The website you should check out is helpmejailbreak.com at the moment it has instructions for the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, however we would imagine that the site will be updated with jailbreak information for the Apple TV and Apple iPad.

As for iOS versions supported it supports iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.1, I’m sure the site will be updated once an iOS 4.2 jailbreak has been released.

When you visit the site you can choose your iPhone version, iOS version, your computer’s OS (Mac or Windows) and whether you want to unlock your device, once you answer all of these questions you are pointed in the direction of the correct jailbreak methods for your particular scenario.

Check out the site (here) for yourself, I would recommend bookmarking it if you will be jailbreaking iOS 4.2 when it is released.

We would love to hear if this site helped you jailbreak your Apple device, let us know in the comment section below.
