Yesterday we revealed that the iOS 4.2 update for the Apple iPad may frustrate some users as it changes the rotation lock button to a mute key, now we thought we would concentrate on some of the new features and innovations it will bring.

The iOS 4.2 update for iPad will arrive sometime this month (November), according to Apple this will bring intelligent multitasking, which will not drain the battery or slowdown the app running in the foreground, also you will be able to group apps in folders, which is great for organization.

Two of the most highly anticipated features are AirPrint and AirPlay, AirPrint is pretty self-explanatory and allows you to print directly to a printer on a wireless network, AirPlay allows you to stream media for your iPad to the new Apple TV, also you can stream music to AirPlay speakers or receivers (including AirPort Express).

Here we will list some of the other notable new features/changes, however if you would like to find out more about them check out this link.
