Maemo Update for Nokia N900: Download Now

By Daniel Chubb - Oct 25, 2010

In the early part of this year we provided you with information on the release of two web browsers that were going to be available on Maemo’s operating system, which are Firefox and Google chrome.

Now there is an article over at that was written by Chris Davies, about a system update v20.2010.36-2, which offers full support for Ovi Suite and fixes a few bugs as well as makes the N900 perform much better.

The new version is available as a manual update with the Nokia Suite via a PC, or you can just wait until the big yellow exclamation mark shows up on your screen. When it’s done, you will be able to download music or popular apps including Tower Boxx Deluxe 3D and Angry Birds.

What issues did the update resolve for you, and is the performance better after?
