HTC Knight: New Android headed to Sprint?

By Alan Ng - Oct 25, 2010

We recently told you that the BlackBerry Style 9670 was on it’s way to Sprint soon, but now we have fresh details on a brand new, unannounced HTC device which could also be making it’s way to Sprint.

As Engadget reports, this handset has been codenamed the HTC ‘Knight’, and the first alleged picture of the device can be seen below courtesy of the XDA Developers Forums.

Not much is known about this handset, although the picture does suggest that the four touchscreen buttons located at the bottom of the device will serve as primary navigation buttons.

Furthermore, we’re also hearing that the HTC Knight will feature a slide-out design, although whether this is a slide-out QWERTY or something entirely different remains to be seen. It could even be the Sprint version of the WP7 HTC Surround, as that comes with a slide-out surround sound speaker.

We’ll keep you updated on this one.
