Motorola DEFY: Release Date and Price on T-Mobile

By Alan Ng - Oct 21, 2010

We have some good news for those of you who have been keeping an eye on the durable Motorola Defy, as T-Mobile has just announced that they will be stocking the device ready for a release early next month.

As reported from Phandroid, T-Mobile used their Twitter account to inform users of the move, and they confirmed that the Defy will be available to buy on November 3rd.

Just to recap, the Defy’s 3.5-inch touchscreen is scratch resistant and the handset can even withstand being placed into 1m of water. Other features include a 5MP camera, WiFi calling, GPS and Android 2.1 with BLUR.

If you’re interested in picking this up, it will be available to buy for $99 on a two-year deal with T-Mobile. Pretty good price you have to say, but the one question on our minds is when will the Defy be upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo?

Let us know your thoughts on the handset.
