Samsung Focus: Windows Phone 7 Hands-On, Impressions, Photos & Specs

By Jamie Pert - Oct 11, 2010

Formally known as the Cetus i917, the Focus has just had the once over from Engadget who are currently all over the Microsoft Press Conference and say that if you’re interested in finding the Windows Phone 7 version of the Galaxy S, then this is the ticket.

Not much information has been released for the Focus (Cetus i917) but we did have a hands-on video to show you a while back that showed off some interesting features.

AT&T have snapped up the Focus which comes in a a glossy, black looking curved shell. It also comes with a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, and Vibrant fans will feel right at home as it is remarkably similar to hold.

It also has a 5 megapixel camera, support for microSD up to 16GB and should be available in the States from November 8 for around $199.99.

According to AT&T, they say that the 9.9 millimeter/.3-inch device is the slimmest WP7 handset currently available.

I suggest that you check out the gallery over at Engadget to take a closer look at the Focus, or if you are more interested in what else Microsoft have to offer, check out 10 new mobile phones that will carry the Windows Phone 7 OS.
