New Toshiba Satellite A665-3D Notebook: Price and Release Date

By Daniel Chubb - Sep 29, 2010

Only yesterday I reported on the unveiling of a 3D capable LG Xnote A510, which is fitted with either a quad core i7 840QM or 740QM processor. I also said that it had NVIDIA GeForce GT425 graphics with 1GB of on-board memory.

Other similar devices we have mentioned over the past months have been an Acer Aspire 5738DZG and Lenovo IdeaPad Y560D. If 3D technology is your thing on notebooks, then Toshiba are offering their A665-3D, which is equipped with NVIDIA 3D Vision technology by viewing through a pair of active glasses.

Slashgear reports that shipping is going to start in October, with a price of around $1299.99. The display on this one benefits from a 120Hz refresh rate and LED-backlighting, as well as featuring a 15.6-inch screen size.

You can listen to high-quality sound through its harman/kardon speakers and connect to your home network or wireless hotspots with the built-in Wi-Fi. Some options include Bluetooth, a battery that has 12-cells and a maximum RAM up to 6GB.
