By Alan Ng - Sep 23, 2010

Following on from our article which informed you of the new jailbreaking tool for iPhone 3GS owners running iOS 4.1, we now have a tutorial showing you how to jailbreak your iPod Touch 3G or 2G using the same tool.

The step-by-step guide comes to us courtesy of RedmondPie, who have listed a full set of instructions over on their website, complete with screenshots in case you get stuck.

This guide will let you jailbreak your iOS 4.1 iPod Touch 3G with Sn0wbreeze 2.0.1, which has only just been released. There is one important thing to note if you have an iPod Touch 3G, as you will have to be jailbroken on 3.1.2 in order for this method to work correctly.

The latest version of Sn0wbreeze will enable you to jailbreak all previous versions of the iPod Touch, so don’t worry if you have an older model than the 3G – it will still work.

If you are willing to give this a go, you’ll find the guide and download links over at RedmondPie. Let us know how you get on.
