Orange UK San Francisco Android Smartphone: Specs and Price

By Jamie Pert - Sep 21, 2010

Orange UK has recently announced and launched a mid-end smartphone which runs Google’s popular Android mobile OS, this is called the San Francisco and is available for just £99 on pay as you go.

The San Francisco has been developed by Orange, it is a touchscreen smartphone which resembles the HTC Desire, in terms of specs it is more than worth its £99 in my opinion.

Out of the box the San Francisco runs Android 2.1 Eclair, it features a 3.2 megapixel camera, 150MB of internal storage, a microSD memory card slot which supports cards of up to 32GB. In terms of connectivity it has everything you would want, it connects to Orange’s 3G network and has WiFi and Bluetooth functionality.

As previously mentioned it will cost just £99 for the pay as you go version, which probably means that it will be free as part of a relatively cheap monthly contract.

Will you buy the San Francisco smartphone from Orange UK?
