Verizon iPhone 4 or White Edition: CDMA Version More Popular

By Peter Chubb - Sep 20, 2010

Alan Ng decided that it was time to ask our readers what was more important to them, a Verizon iPhone or a White iPhone 4? The results were not much of a surprise, showing that the idea of a CDMA version of the Apple smartphone is still as popular as ever. The most recent news suggest that the white iphone will be available before Christmas.

Looking at the results from the poll, it shows that 79 percent of those voted in favor of a Verizon iPhone, whereas only 16 percent wanted the white model. The reaming 5 percent had other reasons not to choose either.

One of the main reasons why readers did not want either versions of the iPhone was because they are sick of the iPhone. I will not lie to you; I have the iPhone and always seem to get into arguments about it with a relative who has an Android handset.

However, I will agree that Android is now in a better position than ever, when it comes to offering choice. It is for this reason that I think that Apple are shooting themselves in the foot all the time that they will not offer their handset on any other carrier in the U.S. However, this is not the first and last time that this will be said.
