Samsung Galaxy Tab: New Hands-On Video Review

We have some good news if you are planning to pick up a Samsung Galaxy Tab device in the US, as we have found a fresh hands-on video for you to check out, it was taken at the recent Samsung event.

The video comes to us courtesy of Phandroid, who were lucky enough to spend some quality time with the device away from the hustle and bustle of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab event where they revealed that the device would be coming to all four major carriers in the US.

This video gives us another solid at Samsung’s Touch Wiz 3.0 on top of Android 2.2 Froyo interface, as well as a preview of some of the apps on the Galaxy Tab. Since the units at the event were prototypes, the accelerometer didn’t seem to be working, so some of the apps shown, such as the calendar or a game demo were not able to make of use of it.

Phandroid point out that the device is out this holiday season, and that Samsung has now been credited with having created the number one Android tablet on the market.

Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts on it. Is the Tab a day one purchase for you?
