A new fitness application has just been released to take advantage of the iPad. Fitness HD 1.0 allows users to pick a readymade fitness routine that is created by a professional coach.
Released by Viaden Mobile the app also has two modes which let fitness pros to create a workout of their own. Taking advantage of the iPads bigger screen, the videos and instructions are in HD quality. The readymade workouts are tailored to cover a vast variety of personal goals.
A body tracker helps users keep track of their progress via the aid of graphs, and a users BMI index is also shown and indicates if the user’s weight is normal for their height. The iPad app has a food tracker which monitors nutrition. When foods are logged by the user the app shows the full nutrition info including the amount of fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and more.
Hundreds of exercises with or without equipment are contained in the app, including yoga poses and cardio exercises. All exercises have audio, text, photo, and video instructions. Users can also consult a fitness expert free of charge directly from the app.
Fitness HD for iPad is available worldwide on the App Store for $2.99. Requires iPad with OS 3.2 or later.
