The only thing that's ever bothered me about Halo is that the franchises story is hit and miss, constantly going from sweeping epic to "gimme a break" (I'm looking at you campaign mode in Halo3, and ODST in entirety). The enemies sometimes come off as dumb. Literally. Those short, nubby, "little people" aliens just giggle and run all weebly wobbly, almost making me feel almost bad for shooting them. The big guys seem tougher in size, but just look dated and comparably pathetic. If you look at a grunt from Halo and a Locust from Gears of War side by side, you can see the difference between "bad-a*s" and just plain "a*s". That said, the multi-player side of halo is where its at. Silky smooth, incredible weapons and accuracy. And of course, that epic jump shot. Good stuff. I will dive in at midnight and hope it fares better than the previous iteration. Looking forward more to Call of Duty: Black Ops, but this should tide me over…

@Klatu-100 % agreed! You made an intelligent observation on a rather unintelligent subject! Halo:Reach to me is only something to bypass the weeks I'm waiting for Black Ops!
