Motorola Droid 2: Custom ROM Released – Download and Instructions

We recently told you about the first Custom ROM for the Motorola Droid X, but now we have some exciting news for Droid 2 owners, as the first Custom ROM is also available to download for your handset.

As reported from Droid-Life, the ROM has come to us courtesy of developer Matt4542, as not only has he unveiled the world’s first Custom ROM for Verizon’s newest handset, but he has also posted download links and a full tutorial so you can try it out yourself.

According to the install notes, the Custom ROM will remove all bloatware from your handset and it also includes a variety of useful scripts such as freeing up internal memory for starters
