We have some fresh details on two new products that are widely expected to be unveiled at Apple’s Media Event on Wednesday. They are the new 4th-generation iPod Touch, and 6th-gen iPod Nano of course.

Some new details in this report from Apple Insider, has suggested that not only will the new iPod Touch come with iPhone 4 features such as Facetime video chat and a Retina display screen, but also the inclusion of 3G connectivity as seen in the iPad.

Apple’s 3G version of the iPad has proved far more popular than the WiFi model, so it makes good sense for Apple to include this as an added feature of the 4G iPod Touch.

As for the new iPod Nano, Apple Insider has suggested that the device will retain the 30-pin dock connector which will mean that it will have support for all the existing iPod accessories that are available, since it was previously suggested that new cables would be needed for PC input.
