Samsung Galaxy Tab: New Video shows Android 2.2 Froyo

By Alan Ng - Aug 26, 2010

We have some good news for those of you planning to pick up the impressive-looking Samsung Galaxy Tab, as the device has been seen and a new video of the Tab is available to view online.

As reported from Engadget, the Samsung Galaxy Tab has an added incentive for consumers, as not only will it be the first decent Android tablet to market, it will also be running the latest version of it – Android 2.2 Froyo.

The new video taken shows the tablet running Froyo, along with close-up shots of the front facing camera for video calls and the rather slick User Interface. During halfway through the video, we also get a look at the built in DVB tuner, meaning you’ll be able to watch digital TV broadcasts on the go – pretty cool.

I’m not sure about you, but I’m very impressed with what I’ve seen of the Samsung Galaxy Tab so far. Will it be able to challenge the iPad though? – Lets wait and see!
