Apple Special Event September 1: iPod Touch, iTV, iTunes

By Peter Chubb - Aug 25, 2010

Earlier today we had assumed that Apple were to hold a special media event on September 7th, but that date was wrong – no fault of Alan Ng’s, this is just what he had reported from MacRumors. However, that date was incorrect – the true date is September 1st at 11 a.m. PDT.

Nothing has changed though; we still hope that Steve Jobs offers details on the White iPhone 4, Verizon iPhone, Apple TV (iTV), iPod Touch, iTunes, and an updated MacBook Air.

I am a bit upset really, I am due to fly out to Cyprus on that day, so will be rushing to get to my hotel quickly so that I can see if Jobs announces anything that we have been hoping for. Not sure my wife will be happy that I will be pushing her aside on out first day of our vacation?

The event takes place at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. As we get closer to the media event we will provide you withal the details for the live blogs coverage. For more details read the article written by Brian X. Chen from Wired.
