Xbox 360 Halo: Reach Bundle Pre-Order and Sound Effects

By Jamie Pert - Jul 23, 2010

Earlier today we revealed that the Halo: Reach Xbox 360 bundle had been confirmed by Microsoft, now we have found out more about the sound effects and have a pre-order link for you.

MajorNelson recently used Twitter to reveal more about the sound effects, apparently when you turn the limited edition console on you will hear a Halo inspired sound, also when you eject the drive you will hear the shield power up sound effect. Both sounds will feature on MajorNelson’s next podcast.

As stated earlier the bundle will be readily available from September 14th for $399.99, this bundle consists of a custom design inspired by Halo: Reach, two customer wireless controllers and a standard copy of Halo: Reach, everything else in the box is the same as what you get when purchasing the new slim Xbox 360.

If you want to pre-order yourself this bundle check out Amazon.

  • Is preorder the only way to get this Xbox?

  • Thanks… Nevertheless one more outstanding entry, it is truly the reason all of came back to the website time and again!

does not come with the custom wireless headset. Just a standard black one.

One thing confuses me. In some articles it says comes with custom wireless headset and others doesn’t say. Can anyone verify if it comes with it or without?

If I pre-order this xbox 360 bundle at GameStop do I get the same bonuses as if i'd pre-order the game?
