HTC Desire HD: Specs, Release Date and Froyo Rumors

We have some exciting news for you now, as we are hearing reports that the rumored HTC ‘Ace’ handset will actually release as the HTC Desire HD. We have some rumored specs to bring you now, and some details regarding Android 2.2 Froyo.

As reported from SlashGear, the HTC Desire HD is rumored to be releasing sometime in October. The handset once known as the HTC Ace will now release under the familiar Desire brand, only the handset will feature some beefed up specs compared to the original Desire model.

These include a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon Processor, HD 720p Video Recording, 8 Megapixel camera, 4GB internal memory, Flash 10.1 and Xvid playback.

You’ll be pleased to know that the handset is also rumored to come with Android 2.2 Froyo out of the box and that the design may also feature a unibody aluminum enclosure.

Nothing is concrete at the moment, but we’ll let you know when we have more details on the HTC Desire HD.
