2011 Ford Fiesta Delayed: Facebook images show why

Who would have thought that U.S. drivers would be waiting for delivery of such a small car like the 2011 Ford Fiesta? This small hatchback has been going down a storm, and in a strange twist – Hurricane Alex has delayed deliveries. Images have appeared on Facebook to show us why.

Jamie LaReau from Automotive News reports that Ford believes that the 2011 Ford Fiesta could be delayed between 10 and 14 days. The reason is because Hurricane Alex destroyed a number of railroads near Ford’s factory in Mexico.

More than 2,000 customers will not be happy, as they have already paid their deposits and were expecting their shiny new small hatchback soon. However, we are certain that they will not worry about waiting another two weeks, as the delay is not Ford’s problem.
