Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1): Download Beta Now

By Alan Ng - Jul 13, 2010

We have some important news for Windows 7 users now, as Microsoft has just released the beta for the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1). It was announced at the Worldwide Partner Conference and is available to download now.

As reported from RedmondPie, the first Service Pack for Windows 7 will help to keep your computer updated with the latest support for the platform, while also providing users with deep virtualization options and features for business users.

According to Microsoft, this beta is not aimed at normal home owners, but only IT professionals, since it does not contain any fresh new features at the moment.

If you are still interested in giving this a go though, you can download SP1 here. Let us know how you get on and if you have anything to share afterwards.
