Apple iTunes: TV Episodes to Launch for $0.99 each – Rumor

By Jamie Pert - Jul 12, 2010

It seems as if Apple are trying to reinvigorate their TV episode rental service, and if rumors are correct users of the service may soon save a lot of money.

Details are currently scarce, however TV episodes may be available for rent for just $0.99 per episode, currently standard definition episodes cost $1.99 and high-definition episodes cost $2.99.

If PCMag’s recent article is accurate it seems as if Apple could also change the way their service works, instead of storing the episodes on the local machine they will be stored on the cloud, therefore you will be streaming the episodes.

Once you purchase the episode you will have up to 30 days to watch it, however if you begin watching the episode it will expire after 24 hours.

Do you like the sound of the proposed changes?
