Tour de France 2010 is well under way but not too late for you to start to watch each stage. Fans of the sport will want to know what the route is for each day, and one way to see this is with Google Earth Maps, you can also get details on the route schedules and stage profiles.
The file has been developed by Thomas Vergouwen to download the KML then just click here. There are a number of simpler Google Earth files out there, but none offers as much details as this. Being able to take a virtual view of each stage is awesome and shows just how grueling it will be.
If you just want to see what the course is like without all the other information, then Google Earth Blog suggests the KML from steephill.tv. You need to make certain that GE is installed on your computer before attempting to load the program.
Do not worry if you missed the first two stages, there are still 21 stages left. And remember, this will be the last Tour de France for Lance Armstrong, which OSM recently reported.
