2012 Mercedes-Benz SL spotted

By Daniel Chubb - Jun 30, 2010

You may have remembered our reports a couple of days ago on the Mercedes-Benz SLS, both in electric prototype form and AMG Kicherer Edition. Well in keeping with anything Mercedes starting with the letter ‘S’, Autoblog has managed to get some pictures of a 2012 SL out during testing.

Although heavily disguised we can still make out some of the more standout features. From the front there is a bold front grille with the large three pointed emblem, that is becoming more common on new Merc’s. Moving round another big feature is the headlamps with are smoother and have additional LED running lights fitted beneath in the air intakes. Out the back the rear lamps have also been smoothed out.

With a picture of the cabin we can see a new sports steering wheel and Autoblog reports that the rest of the interior is something akin to the much raved about SLS AMG. Have a look at the spy shots on the link below of possibly another stunner from Mercedes.
