Recently we spoke about Reseach in Motion’s Q1 results, in this article I suggested that they need to launch some pretty impressive BlackBerrys to stay competitive in today’s market, well it seems as if the BlackBerry Storm 3 could be a big player in the smartphone market.
Specifications are currently unconfirmed, however IntoMobile’s recent article suggests that it may feature a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, perhaps the best thing is that it will apparently support Verizon’s upcoming 4G LTE network.
It is also rumored to have a 5 megapixel pixel camera (a little disappointing), a new version of SurePress and a completely new OS, this new OS will apparently be completely different to OS 6.0 and will allow plenty of customization and support for widgets.
Other details are completely scarce, however experts believe that development started in 2008, and RIM usually have a two-year development cycle, therefore we could see the BlackBerry Storm 3 launch within a couple of months.
As we find out more regarding the BlackBerry Storm 3 we will keep you posted, for more information check out the source link below.
