Reasons not to pre-order iPhone 4

By Peter Chubb - Jun 15, 2010

The new iPhone 4 is now available to pre-order, Apple had some trouble with its online store early in the day, but it seems that things are now back to normal. It is no secret that this is the best iPhone yet and we can be certain that it will sell in its millions – but what are the reasons not to pre-order the slimmest smartphone yet?

We know that there are so many alternatives at the moment, but do they have as much or more to offer than the iPhone 4? The first thing that you will look at first is its design, I can safely say that the new Apple handset looks better than most Android phones on the market – everything just looks so slick.

The iPhone 4 comes with two cameras, the main 5-megapixel with LED flash on the rear and a VGA camera on the front. However, the HTC EVO 4g comes with an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

We know that the new Apple iPhone 4 has the A4 processor from the iPad, we are not certain if Apple have slowed this down – if they have then there are a number of handsets on the market that have the 1GHz Snapdragon chip, and Motorola have now been working on a 2GHz processor.

One of the main reasons not to pre-order is the price of the iPhone 4; there has certainly been a price increase since the 3GS last year. Looking at the figures it shows that he price of the new iPhone has increased by 14% – there are a number of Android handsets coming to the market that offer better value for money.

So have you pre-ordered your iPhone 4 today?
