Zelda Wii 2010: New Details and Title before Nintendo E3 Keynote

This is the news that Nintendo Wii owners have been waiting for. It looks like we have legitimate details on the upcoming Zelda game for the Wii. One website has released a collection of details as well as a supposed title for the game.

As reported from VG247, the new details have come courtesy of Zelda Informer who states that the new title will simply be called ‘The Legend of Zelda’ and will have no subtitle.

Apparently the story is set 100 years before the events of Ocarina of Time, and the storyline involves learning how the master sword was first created. A character named Zordiana is set to play a main part in the game, and you’ll be pleased to know that the hookshot tool comes with all-new abilities.

There will be two levels of difficulty – these are ‘normal mode’ and ‘hero-mode, with tougher enemies. There is a lot more details over at VG247, make sure you read the whole thing.

Do you think the details are genuine or not? It seems to us like they are, and Zelda Informer has gone on record to say that the details are 99.99% accurate and Nintendo will be revealing the same details tomorrow.

Their keynote starts tomorrow morning, we’ll find out the truth then.

  • William

  • Garmond

erm no i frankly belive it will not be set 100 years before ocarina why well it would mess up the timeline so nope

  • Dustin

While it sounds nice, E3 rumors don't usually leak.

And if it's set before Ocarina Of Time, then most likely technology hasn't advanced. Which may contradict what Eiji Anomua said about including flight.

We'll see, but don't take the rumors too seriouslly.

    • GUARD

yeah, we shouldn't take rumors too seriously…..HOWEVER… every E3, we have leaked footages, info AND images about games and/or consoles. Most E3 leaked rumors are true (at least those of last years) so the chances of the rumors of this Zelda game being true are high.
      CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Rumors are NOT usually true, but E3 LEAKED rumors are.
