Kinect for Xbox 360: Video Chat Will Support Gestures

Earlier today we revealed that Microsoft Kinect (formally known as Project Natal) will offer four way video chat, we have now heard that this chat program will be entirely controlled by gestures.

To be honest this was pretty obvious as using a controller to access one of Kinect’s biggest features does seem a bit backwards, however stranger things have happened.

It is pretty clear that Kinect spells the end for the Microsoft Xbox 360 Vision Web Camera, which was barely used by Xbox 360 video gamers. Do you think that Microsoft should somehow reimburse owners of the original vision web cam?

I am sure that Video Chat will be shown off during E3 2010, therefore as we come across more details we will keep you posted.

nah, they shouldn't have to reimburse people for the video camera. Because u don't just have to use it on an xbox360. You can use that camera on anything from a desktop computer to a laptop computer or whatever it can connect to through the usb ports.
