Call of Duty: Black Ops – Update Regarding Co-Op Campaign – Zombies?

By Jamie Pert - Jun 4, 2010

Whenever there is a Call of Duty release a lot of players buy the game for it’s multiplayer offerings, however we are hearing some slightly disappointing news from JoyStiq regarding the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Apparently when Black Ops is released later this year there will be no co-op campaign, instead the game’s campaign is single-player only, that said there will be separate and unique co-op modes.

As JoyStiq point out, it sounds a lot like the Spec Ops missions which featured in Modern Warfare 2, however Treyarch’s Mark Lamia stated that Black Op’s co-op mode will be different to MW2’s.

One co-op mode which was missing from Modern Warfare 2 was the ever popular zombie mode, zombies featured in Treyarch’s last Call of Duty game World at War, therefore it seems as if all of the evidence is pointing towards zombies in Black Ops!

As we hear information which confirms/refutes these claims we will keep you posted, for more details check out the source link below.
