Motorola Droid: Android 2.2 Froyo Update Available?

By Alan Ng - May 26, 2010

We have some news for Motorola Droid owners now, as one report has suggested that the Android 2.2 Froyo update is already available – although the user has decided to keep the install method to himself at the moment.

If you head over to Phandroid, you will be able to see a series of screenshots, which seemingly confirm a working version of Android 2.2 Froyo on the handset.

Phandroid confirms that the resolution of the display screen seen in the images ensure that the handset isn’t the Nexus One, so could this be the real thing here?

Exciting news for Motorola Droid owners for sure, but it is best to wait until we hear more solid evidence of Froyo. Take a look at the images for yourself and let us know your thoughts on them.
