Details for the Motorola Shadow, the codename for the Droid successor look like they have been released as a device called the MB810 was submitted to the Wi-Fi Alliance for approval over the weekend.
Motorola Shadow rumors first appeared last year, but since then it has been pretty quiet regarding the Droid follow-up.
But with the submission over the weekend, it seems we have more concrete information regarding the device tentatively named the MB810. It seems the rumored specs include the Android 2.2 (Froyo), a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen and an 8-megapixel camera.
It is also rumored that the MB810 will support HD video playback at 1080p, and the camera will be able to record HD video at 720p. The Nokia N8 could also be sweating as the MB810 will also include a mini HDMI jack, rivaling Nokia’s TV-out feature.
Unfortunately, it seems that the memory will be limited to 512MB, which gives hope for Android users to let them install applications to SD cards before the release of the MB810.
