Glee app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

By Gary Johnson - Apr 16, 2010

Fans of the American smash hit musical drama Glee can now enjoy the show on their iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Glee app has just been released by developers Smule; the app contains some of the professionally mastered tracks straight from the show to your device.

Users can sing along with the actual cast members, as it is a nice idea to have a good back-up voice to your own. The app has technology designed by the developers to enhance a user’s voice by correcting your pitch. It also will harmonize a user’s voice in real-time, creating up to four voices. Fans can create their own virtual Glee club with the harmonies when they are tuned to each track.

There is the option for fans to share their songs via Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and email, where your friends can join your songs with their own voices added. In the new Glee world, every cast member has a radio tower next to the position of their broadcast. This allows users to listen to their songs or even join in with them. Head over to the developers website to find out more.

Glee is on the App Store for $2.99. Requires iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with OS 3.1.2 or later.
