Infinity Ward: Designer and Programmer Resign

By Jamie Pert - Apr 13, 2010

Yesterday we reported that ex-Infinity Ward bosses Vince Zampella and Jason West had joined forces with EA, we are now hearing that an Infinity Ward programmer and a designer have decided to resign.

The programmer Jon Shirling recently revealed on Twitter that he has resigned, here’s his tweet “After almost 6 years at Infinity Ward, I resigned today. I’m incredibly proud of everything we accomplished and I’m going to miss everyone”.

Also the designer Mackey McCandlish tweeted “Thanks idub, we had a great 8+ year run going there. Thanks for lunch everyone!”

As you can see the tweets reveal that neither Shiring and McCandlish seem to have bad blood with InfinityWard, however they have just decided to move on.

The future of InfinityWard is quite unpredictable now, especially as six employees have parted company with IW since March 1st 2010, for more details check out the link below.
