Motorola DROID: Milestone gets 2.1, but where is Verizon update?

By Alan Ng - Mar 23, 2010

While Verizon customers in the US wait patiently for any news regarding the Motorola DROID 2.1 Android update, we can tell you that customers in Spain will be able to pick up the handset with 2.1 pre-loaded.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the Milestone is the EU version of the DROID and will be available to Spanish customers on Orange before the end of the month.

Since we are already at the ‘end of the month’, US customers on Verizon can hope that the update to 2.1 will happen sometime this week too – ending the saga once and for all.

Do you have the Milestone in the UK? If so, you should stay tuned for the 2.1 update as well. We’ll let you know once the update becomes available.
