Welcome to the all new Yellow Pages app brought to you by Salt Lake City based Avantar. For those of you that have an Android mobile device this kind of application will be right up your street.

As we all know Yellow pages is one of the most popular local directories and now available with a few added extras you will be please to see. To the users of the Android Marketplace this is free and compatible with Google Phone Nexus One with Android OS 1.6 through OS 2.1, and will soon integrate with the existing Yellow Pages application for Facebook.

The Android version of the Yellow Pages app includes a few extras; one of these is being able to view the most popular used searched terms. You can view these in a visual mosaic format, and access them with a simple tap of the finger. With this app you will be able to perform a typed or voice-search based on a user’s current location, just simply speak what you are looking for and the location to be given a list of results in seconds.

You then have the option to add their contact to your phone book, call the company and even get driving directions and navigation. Read more about this app on, and also see the iPhone version on iTunes.
