Nissan Recall 2010: List of models affected by brake pedal problems

By Alan Ng - Mar 3, 2010

Following on from the news of General Motor’s recall this week, it has just been announced that Nissan are recalling 540,000 vehicles over problems related to their brake pedals.

As reported from HuffingtonPost, affected models include the Nissan Titan, Armada and Infiniti QX56 built from 2005 to 2008, along with the Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra built between January and March 2006 and between October 2007 and January 2008.

It is worth pointing out that there have been no reported accidents or injuries though, so maybe Nissan took note of what happened to General Motors this week, and are just taking precautions.

My Xtera (2004) has had problm with steering since 2-3 years ago. I noticed when I make turn and stop I feel steering dropped. Lately I found horn failed to work and Nissen services said somekind of horn wire which is attached with steering is broken. I think this kind the steering related problem should not be happened. It would have chance caused fatal damage. How to report problem to NHTSA?

  • All Car Companies should have came forward with a full disclosures of what car were dangerous. Instead of waiting for a huge media blitz and tons of public pressure. I never seen so many car companies GM – NISSAN – TOYOTA – HYUNDAI having recalls all at the same time. I had no idea my car was affected until I looked on and found I had a bad Anti Lock control unit on my 2008 Pontiac G8 , my co workers Ford Truck had a recall also. So be careful
