Apple Mac mini: HDMI Version Coming Soon?

By Jamie Pert - Mar 1, 2010

When it comes to rumors AppleInsider are usually pretty accurate, if their latest rumor is true we could well expect to see an Apple Mac mini launch with HDMI-output.

At the moment Mac mini owners have to do with DVI output, however AppleInsider are claiming that “two people familiar with the matter” are reporting seeing a HDMI output on the upcoming Mac minis.

To be honest it seems like a natural progression for the more than capable Mac mini, especially as many Mac mini owners use the mini as an ad-hoc living room media server.

As we find out information which confirms/refutes these claims we will keep you posted.

Apple Computers are never usually the greatest, however one thing they are good for is music production- and only because of certain softwares that are only available on the Mac. A couple of these softwares are great for composing, recording, and remixing music and are very helpful for most musicians to have. The good thing about the mac mini compared to other models is the fact that you just get the CPU, rather than the computer and the monitor all in one, like the iMac. Overall I would give it a 2/5.
