Garmin-Asus Nuvifone A50: Android Smartphone

Garmin-Asus have recently introduced a new nuvifone, this nuvifone is called the A50 and runs Google’s Android OS, it is thought that Android was chosen as many users were unhappy with Garmin-Asus’ hand-crafted OS.

This handset will as you expect be a ‘fully-fledge’ handset which will also offer full Garmin turn-by-turn GPS guidance.

The A50 will feature a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display which supports a HVGA resolution, it will also feature 4GB of storage along with a microSD memory card slot.

Other features worth mentioning include a 3 megapixel camera, an accelerometer, along with Exchange support.

Pricing and release date details regarding this handset are still not known, however should be revealed soon. A summer 2010 release date is expected, as we find out details which confirm this we will keep you posted.
